A few weeks ago, I was on youtube watching Laura in the Kitchen (as I always do) and she was making Swedish Meatballs. I have my dad’s recipe for meatballs and apart from Ikea, I don’t really enjoy many others so I rarely try. Last night, I saw one of those minute long recipe videos on Instagram and guess what they were making… Swedish Meatballs!
Not sure how many times I am going to type Swedish Meatballs.. but I digress.
The recipe follows exactly that of Laura Vitale’s, you can find it here. With the exception of a few steps/ingredients that I’ll list below. I also took pictures so you follow what I did.
My Ingredients…. not pictured is one egg. Ignore the celery.
If last night’s presidential debate didn’t motivate you to vote, I don’t know what will. Yesterday’s debate was less of a spectacle than the first but still very repetitive and one sided. If I’m speaking in code let me translate, I am not voting for Trump.
Though it may not seem like it, it’s actually very important for us to go out and vote this election season. There are people out there who are very willing and able to vote for the nonsense of a man.
For more of my colorful opinions about the debate, follow me on twitter here.
In order for you to vote, you must first register, some of you may have registered already and just need to update your information. You can do both here.
Please Note: The deadline for voter registration falls between this week and next. Don’t waste time. You could stop reading and go straight there to find your state deadlines. (I won’t be mad..lol)
Happy Voting my friends.
P.S.
For those not living in the states, i.e my international readers… Take some time this week to look into the workings of your government (local, state or federal). See anything that can and should be done differently? What are you going to do about it?

SO…We received a NuWave oven as a wedding gift. A FREAKING NUWAVE!
I was so ecstatic when Engr (Le hubs) brought it home. I count it as a blessing because a week before, I was in church talking with a friend about how I wanted one for the house. God was totally listening and he was totally faithful.
It didn’t take long before I was dreaming up recipes and what I wanted to do with it. First Recipe I tried was ribs. They came out so nice, I wish I had photos to share (It will soon come).
I was able to capture the process for the recipe I am about to share. I call it my Kilishi/Beef Jerky hybrid.
